Mental Health America of Summit County is part of a network of professionals and volunteers committed to improving our community's understanding of the mental health spectrum; wellness to illness. 

Mental Health America educates the public as to the causes, treatments and research into mental wellness and illnesses. In this capacity, Mental Health America sponsors programs and workshops each year dealing with various mental health issues and concerns.

Mental Health America of Summit County created and distributes a directory of Mental Health Services which provides information about services, support groups, crisis intervention centers and hotlines throughout the county.  Please call our office to request a FREE copy.  We also maintain a more comprehensive list that includes many of these services in the surrounding counties. 

We Educate the community about mental illnesses and mental wellness.

We Advocate for individuals and families to ensure they receive appropriate care and treatment.

We make Referrals to services and programs throughout Northeast Ohio.

We Encourage and Support Recovery by promoting Good Mental Health!

We are a not for profit agency funded by the Summit County United Way, memberships, contributions, and through state and private grants.
